At Pan American Academy we believe in achieving our goals through a rigorous curriculum and a strong school community.
In 2013, Pan American Academy became the first and only school in Philadelphia to be an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. We are one of four schools statewide offering this program to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
In 2017, Pan American became authorized to implement the Middle Years Program, Pan American Academy extended the International Baccalaureate to our middle school students in grades six through eighth.
Pan American Academy prides itself on our positive school climate. We were identified by the School District of Philadelphia as a peer leader in the measures of school climate and student and parent engagement.
Students at Pan American Academy are committed to their education. We boast an average daily attendance rating of 95% or higher each day.
The Garden at Pan American Academy Charter School serves as an intersection for a healthy lifestyle combining good eating habits and mindfulness. It provides an intentional and reflective space for students and the community to come together. The garden promotes community engagement and a commitment to healthy living.
Since 2018, Pan American Academy Charter School has implemented the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness refers to the process of focusing your attention in the present. The idea of a mindful mindset is to help students deal with stressful or overwhelming experiences.
