Technology Repair Fee
As explained in the Home Technology Use Agreement, Students must take precautions to prevent damage or misplacement to the iPad; for example, do not leave the iPad where there is a danger of coming in contact with moisture or excessive heat. This would include protecting the machine from inclement weather. Any damage will be assessed and a repair fee will be determined. All fees must be handled within the school year.
The actual cost of repair or replacement, whichever is less, will be assessed as follows:
☐ Charger replacement due to missing or intentional damage – $25
☐ iPad pen replacement due to missing or intentional damage – $50
☐ Case replacement due to keyboard missing or intentional damage – $140
☐ Screen replacement – $125
☐ Replacement cost due to the iPad being inoperable – $299
