We are looking for a passionate Library Media Teacher to join our team! The Library Media Teacher teaches research and library skills to students across grades K-8. The Library Media Teacher collaborates with classroom teachers and manages all aspects of maintaining the school library/iMedia Center, organizing library material and equipment for effective and efficient utilization and circulation. The Library Media Teacher plans with teachers, when appropriate, for meaningful and effective grade appropriate reference work and/or literature appreciation activities for students. The Library Media Teacher selects, adapts and individualizes lessons and materials appropriate for diverse student populations, skills and learning styles. The Library Media Teacher supports the school’s student achievement, state reading standards and fosters student recreational reading.
