SDP Survey

The School District of Philadelphia (SDP) conducts an annual survey for parents to share what they think about their child’s school.  After the surveys are completed, the SDP shares the anonymous results with schools to help them plan for the following school year.  The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and once you begin you should complete it in its entirety.

In order to complete the survey you will need your child’s district student ID number. You should have received the student ID information in April.  You must complete the survey online using the link on that paper which is also listed below for your convenience. If you do not receive it or it is lost, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher via ClassDojo. You may complete the survey using THIS link once you have received your child’s ID number.  The deadline for completing this survey is June 10, 2022.

Technology Collection

Starting June 3rd, we will be collecting Pan American Academy’s student devices. There are 3 items we will be collecting. The student iPad with a keyboard case, the Logitech orange crayon, and the Apple Issued Charger (cord and adapter). As explained in the Home Technology Use Agreement, Students must take precautions to prevent damage or misplacement to the iPad; for example, do not leave the iPad where there is a danger of coming in contact with moisture or excessive heat. This would include protecting the machine from inclement weather. Any damage will be assessed and a repair fee will be determined. All fees must be handled within the school year.  Please visit the Technology Page for the cost and details for each item that must be returned.

Athletics Fundraiser

Through FundRaising University

5th-8th grade students who want to raise money for Pan American Athletics will participate in a fundraising event on June 2nd at 2:30pm.  We are collaborating with a company called FundRaising University. The way it works is students will send out a text message with a donation link and an explanation on why we are fundraising.  Donors will click on the link and decide how much they would like to donate.  If you are wondering why we want to raise money for Pan American Athletics, the money raised will go towards new uniforms for all sports, personal travel bags for each student/athlete, athletic celebrations, individual t-shirts. Each player will have new equipment for their sport.  It is important we raise funds so we can keep athletics going strong at Pan American Academy Charter School.  Students who participate in extracurricular/athletic activities are 82% more successful in life. Let’s go,  we can do this!!  Information packets will go home with each student participating on Wednesday, May 25th, during community meeting.

Thank you!
Mr. Vassion
