We are so excited to welcome our students

April 17, 2021

Hello Pan American Families,We are so excited to welcome our students, who selected in-person model, back to Pan American Academy on Monday,April 19th at 8AM!

Surveillance Testing

We have put many safety measures in place over the last several months to ensure the health and safety of our students, staff and families. We continue conducting weekly surveillance testing for students and staff. Any students who have selected the in-person model and did not come in for the surveillance test last Monday, must come with a parent this Monday, April 19th. The parent must sign the consent form at the front lobby of the school when dropping your child off. See information in the following link about the test.

SchoolPass App

We will also conduct a daily wellness screener through the SchoolPass app for staff, students and visitors.Yesterday, you should have received a welcome letter outlining directions on how to download and log into your SchoolPass account. Beginning Monday morning, April 19th and each morning thereafter, please be sure to complete the wellness screener for each child returning to in-person instruction. Please read the questions carefully and respond accordingly.Should you have any questions or require support with the app, please send an email to support@panamcs.orgforassistance. Thank you in advance for your patience as we work to get everyone back into the routine of in-person learning safely.

Car Drop Off Line

The City of Philadelphia Streets Department will be working on American Street in front of our school on Monday and Tuesday, April 19 & 20. This will impact our car line drop off, therefore we ask that you continue down American St. past Pan American Academy and turn right onto Somerset Street. You will see Pan American security & staff by the gate along Congreso’s 2800 building on Somerset Street which is where you will drop off your child(ren) along the curb in front of our school personnel. Our staff will guide the students to our school from there.

Return to School

Please take a few minutes to watch the video with your student(s) as it contains some information on the expectations for students while in school.

Stay well,
Pan American Administration
